Please Read the Fine Print

Definitions:

1. Psychedelic Club of San Mateo shall herein be referred to as "the Club".
2. Psychedelic Club of San Mateo sponsored online chat rooms, social media pages, live chats, or any other form of online communication shall herein be referred to as "the Chat Room".
3. Any participant engaged in "the Chat Room" shall herein be referred to as "the member" or "member".

Terms and Conditions:

Psychedelic Club of San Mateo, herein referred to as "the Club", shall not be held liable for any form of content that any member of a Signal group, Whatsapp group, or any social media platform or online communication, collectively referred to herein as "the Chat Room", shares to the Chat Room.

Should the member have any opinions or suggestions that they intend to express in the Chat Room, the member understands that the Club does not support or provide credence for reliance on such statements made by any member of the Chat Room.

The member shall assume liability for all opinions, claims, and statements made in the Chat Room. The member acknowledges the risk of their actions and shall accept accountability for any complaints or reports filed by other members against them.

The member hereby authorizes other members of the Chat Room an irrevocable and free license to publish, disseminate, or download any and all of the content posted by the member in the Chat Room.

Should the Club receive any complaints or reports regarding communications in the Chat Room that are contrary to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the Club may, at its own discretion, conduct further investigations.

The Club reserves the right to terminate any items from the Chat Room for a justifiable reason and at its sole discretion. This constitutes any form of content deemed disruptive, offensive, threatening or illegal in nature.

The Club has the full authority to terminate or disqualify a member from any participation or access to the Chat Room for reasonable cause, including any violation to this Agreement and complaints from members of the Chat Room.

The Club reserves the full right to terminate the Chat Room at any given time, with or without reason. The member shall hold the Organization harmless against any disputes, claims, actions, and liabilities that may arise from the said termination.

Under no circumstance shall the Club be liable for any loss, injury, or death resulting from engaging or participating in the Chat Room. However, the Club shall willingly cooperate with the authorities in conducting the appropriate investigation.

Other Chat Room Rules:

Chat Room conduct should be guided by common sense & basic etiquette. You will be considered in violation of the Chat Room Rules of Conduct if you (or others using your web access) do any of the following:

1. Post, promote, or distribute content that is illegal.
2. Harass, threaten, embarrass, or do anything else to another member that is unwanted. This means don’t say bad things about them; don’t attack their character, race, heritage, etc. If you disagree with someone, respond to the subject, not the person.
3. Transmit or facilitate distribution of content that is harmful, abusive, racially or ethnically offensive, vulgar, sexually explicit, or in a reasonable person’s view, objectionable. Community standards may vary, but there is no place in these Chat Rooms where hate speech is tolerated.
4. Disrupt the flow of chat in Chat Rooms with vulgar language, abusiveness, hitting the return key repeatedly or inputting large streams of text so the screen goes by too fast to read, etc. This is online vandalism, and it ruins the experience for others.
5. Pretend to be anyone whom you are not. You may not impersonate another member, or a Psychedelic Club of San Mateo Admin.
6. The discussion of illegal activities that do not pertain to The Club.
7. Foul language will not be tolerated unless all letters of the word are replaced by substitute characters. Example ($#!^ is acceptable. Sh!t is not. In no way should there EVER be letters or numbers used.) Also, prolific foul language use, such as #*()$% ^!*()# *^() it all to #@**, will not be tolerated either, regardless of covering up the entire word.
8. Anyone caught bashing the Club Admin will be immediately banned from our chat rooms.
9. Anyone caught coming back in a chat room under a different username after being banned will be immediately banned from our chat rooms.

How breaking the rules will be handled.

1st Offense: You will be spoken to in public and asked to stop your actions.
2nd Offense: You will be kicked from the server.
